I was assigned to a plainclothes patrol unit on a large metropolitan police department and my tour of duty ended at 3 AM. I took my gun and belt off and laid them on the seat next to me and proceeded to drive home. While stopped at a red light I could not help but notice a solo male passing southbound in front of me.
