What is BLC?

BLC is Black Light Compensation. It is a feature in a camera that causes the iris circult to ignore the bright areas of the image and to open up sufficiently to allow the darker areas to be visible. This is sometimes required for where camera is towards strong light source such as window that has big difference in light intensity.
