How Setup a PT series Low Speed CCTV Dome

For safety of shipping, the original packing of the product is not integrated. However, the procedure is straight forward for professional. For those without too much experience, it is also easy to handle by connecting cables to suitable ports.

Points to remember:
1) The power of the pan-tilt is 24V AC 2A, no more should be connected.
2) Do not discard anything from the box before the whole unit operating for a while.
3) Do not miss or destroy any labels with the items, they are the keys for connection.
4) Visit our forum and official product website for anything there could be downloaded and read.

Steps for the Dome Housing:
1) open the box of the pan-tilt unit, put in a 24V AC power as said above, check if the LED light and then have them disconnected.
2) now double check the ID addressing, baud rate and protocol set, make sure they match your controlling device.
3) connecting RS485 two wires (make sure no reverse of pole), when ready, reconnecting the power, check your controller can pan and tilt the pan-tilt unit. You may need to adjust your controller setting.
4) now you can fix your pan-tilt unit to the housing.

Steps for Camera:
1) if you also order camera, by the same, open the box and have everything on table. And proceed after have your pan-tilt power disconnected.
2) fix the camera on the pan-tilt (a screw should be attached on the housing).
3) there is a connecting cable inside the camera box, take it out and connecting between camera and pan-tilt. It is for camera zoom control and 12V DC power.
4) with cable connected, now connecting the pan-tilt power again and check if both LED on pan-tilt and LED on camera light. Use the controller to test if camera zoom-able.

Steps for Pan-tilt Controller:
1) if also order pan-tilt controller, setting up it is easy.
2) power adapter is bundled.
3) connecting the RS485 wires to all devices you want to control.
4) then power up the control and set the baud rate, ID address and protocols to match your device. That's all.

1) RS485 - there is an ID addressing for each RS485 device, so one controller can control multiple device on a single wire.
